Sacrificial Zinc Anode is a product designed to protect metal structures from corrosion in a variety of environments, particularly in saltwater or brackish water conditions. The anode is made from high-purity zinc and is connected to the metal structure being protected. Sacrificial Zinc Anode is immersed in water, and an electrochemical reaction occurs. The zinc anode, being more electrically active than the metal structure, corrodes preferentially, sacrificing itself to protect the metal structure from corrosion.
